Everyone should be able to use MyFutureSelf.

Last updated October 2, 2026

Our accessibility target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement describes that target and how we test against it. It is not a claim of certification or of conformance verified by a third party.

What we design and test for

  • Keyboard access, visible focus and a logical focus order.
  • Clear headings, landmarks, labels, instructions and error messages.
  • Readable contrast, text resizing, zoom and narrow-screen reflow.
  • Reduced motion, and a pause control for motion that starts on its own.
  • Screen readers and other assistive technology.

Scope and review

Kaya Hickin, our co-founder and CTO, holds DHS Trusted Tester certification for Web on Windows. View his credential.

This statement covers edu.myfutureselfapp.com, including its Log in page. The service each school uses has its own statement.

Every change to this site is checked before release with automated tests in ten display modes, keyboard tests and screen reader checks, and we test it with the NVDA screen reader every week. Passing automated checks alone does not establish conformance.

Report a barrier

If something on this site stops you from using it, email kaya@myfutureselfapp.com. We will confirm we received it, ask only for what we need to look into it, and keep you posted. If a fix takes time, we will get you the information another way.

It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and your browser, device and assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing them. You do not need to disclose a disability.
